Kempten Business school celebrates the mba class of 2021

On September 24, 2021, 45 graduates celebrated their Master of Business Administration (MBA). The presentation of the certificates took place with around 130 guests in the bigBox Allgäu. The MBA International Business Management & Leadership is an offer of the Kempten Business School at the Kempten University of Applied Sciences.

Musician Julia Fröhlich opened the ceremony with the well-known song “I will survive”, followed by a tongue-in-cheek speech by Prof. Dr. Christoph Desjardins and Prof. Dr. Martin Göbl: “You survived!” The professors emphasized the many challenges that part-time study brings with it: “In order to reconcile work, study and family, excellent time management, a mindful approach to mental health, but also ambition and stamina are indispensable.” Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Hauke, President of Kempten University of Applied Sciences, also congratulated the future managers on their successful MBA graduation. On behalf of the graduates, Roman Walz thanked the entire team of Kempten Business School with an enthusiastic “We did it!” for the challenging and instructive seminars as well as the excellent support. Afterwards, the graduates received their MBA certificates in a ceremonial handover. Of course, the obligatory “hat toss” was not to be missed.

The 45 graduates can now call themselves Master of Business Administration (MBA). The part-time MBA in International Business Management & Leadership has been offered at Kempten Business School since 2002 and, with its international EFMD accreditation, is one of the top German MBA programs. Students officially complete their part-time master’s degree after an average of two years. As the title suggests, this is an international program. All seminars are held in English. A stay abroad in South Africa, Thailand or alternatively in Australia is an integral part of the study program. Through intensive cooperation with various companies, the program offers a high level of application orientation. A special focus is the sustainable development of managers.
